ST. JOSEPH MERCY OAKLAND WOMEN’S NIGHT OUT RESERVATIONS

Pontiac, MI.—St. Joseph Mercy Oakland (SJMO) announces that spaces are going fast for its annual Women’s Night Out, scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009, at the Detroit Marriott Pontiac at Centerpoint, 3600 Centerpoint Pkwy., Pontiac.  Focus of the evening is to educate women how to take better care of their physical and emotional health.

 Highlighting the event will be a series of breakout sessions conducted by SJMO physicians.  They and their topics include:

• Urology:  “Female Incontinence,” Jennifer Sobol, DO
• Weight Management:  “Healthy Living Tips,” Tom Rifai, MD
• Stress Management:  “Explore Symptoms of Stress and Learn How to Improve Stress Management Skills,” Carmen Bogdan, MD
• Obstetrics and Gynecology:  “The Well Woman—Tips for Staying Healthy All Year Long,” Anissa Mattison, DO
• Robotic Surgery: “What Does Robotic Surgery Mean to You?”

Tina Schuster, DO

• Oncology:  “Breast Cancer,” Amy Kirby, MD
• Orthopedics:  “Arthritis and Knee Replacement, “ Paul Lewis, DO
• Cardiology:  “Women and Heart Disease,” Fazilath Fatima, MD

 The evening also will include a strolling supper, cash bar, gift basket drawings, vendor booths, complimentary hair consultation, Pilates instruction and more.

 Cost of the evening is $25.Checks should be made payable to St. Joseph Mercy Oakland and mailed to St. Joseph Mercy Oakland, Marketing and Planning, 44405 Woodward Ave., Pontiac, MI 48341 or brought the event.  Free parking is available.  The public is invited.

 When registering for Women’s Night Out, guests should pick three breakout sessions they would like to attend at the event.
