Genesys Forms Free Stroke Support Group

Genesee County, MI – Genesys announces a kick off meeting for a free community stroke support group Thursday, Jan. 7, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., in the atrium conference room of Genesys Regional Medical Center’s Health Park campus.
This group provides an opportunity for stroke survivors and their families to exchange ideas, support and encourage each other, and learn more about their medical condition. Each meeting will include an educational component as well as information on resources available in the local community for stroke survivors.
This support group – now forming – will meet the first Thursday of every month. Genesys Inpatient Rehabilitation Center sponsors the new service.
