Glitz Salons Celebrate 20 Years Serving Oakland County

Glitz Salons, Inc celebrates 20 years serving Oakland County. With salons serving in Rochester, Lake Orion, Clarktson and Orion Township.

“Glitz Salons organization would like to take this opportunity to thank the communities that we have had the privilege to grow with for a wonderful and incredible 20 years!” said Cherie Barnett, owner. “With your generous support, we have grown from one location to a multi-million dollar per year business.”

All the while, Glitz has raised more than $500,000 for local charities and $250,000 for the Children’s Leukemia Foundation. As we have grown, so has our reputation! Glitz employees have maintained their professional edge while training with the best educators our business has to offer in London, New York, Paris, Los Angeles, Chicago, and South Beach.

Glitz Salons’ staff members have certifications in every style of hair extensions, while many hold the prestigious Global Redken colorist certification. Glitz Salons has also earned national recognition and has been named as one of the leaders in the salon business as stylists remain educators for many of the surrounding salons in our area. Owner, and local business mind Cherie Barnett has been written about in the Disney publication “Be Our Guest” a book on customer service as well as many trade magazines that reach salons across the nation.
